I have worked as an intern at Heskia-Hacmum Law Firm in Tel Aviv from October 2015 to March 2016. Thanks to the Massa Stagerim program, I had the opportunity to do a five-month professional internship in Israel.
I had an amazing time in the office; I had the chance to work with a great team with and to get to know interns from all over the world (Germany, Argentina). The working atmosphere was really positive and pleasant. Additionally the location of the firm in front of the beach is absolutely delightful.
During my time in the office I was exposed to various areas of law as restitutions cases, commercial law and international transactions. I also had the opportunity to attend court-hearings in several Israeli courts (Tel Aviv, Lod) and particularly to the Supreme Court in Jerusalem.
Moreover, during the time spent in Israel I traveled a lot with my program and I discovered a new side of the country. I really have the desire to come back and to live here.
To conclude I really recommend this internship and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I was given to work into the firm and to gain practical experience.
